New Evo X MR touring owner
New Evo X MR touring owner
Joined a little over two years ago while initially searching for on Evo X (to view pictures in the for sale threads) but ended up not pulling the trigger.
My most recent vehicles were an 06 E46 M3, 01.5 B5 S4 stg III, 06 B7 S4, E60 550i, and 86 K5 Blazer. Sold the E46 and picked up my B5... the M was a better place to be, but the B5 **** all over it performance wise. I wouldn't waste my time on another E46. Bought the 550i for the family and commuter and the K5 for hitting the trails.
Well, my Dad made me an offer on my BMW I couldn't refuse, and it was time to let go of the Audi, so I decided to look for an Evo X. Found a 10 MR touring in White and couldn't help myself. After years of rowing through the gears in traffic, I've decided that I'm over it and am very happy with the SST.
Flew out to Santa Ana, CA to pick it up on Saturday and drove it back to Denver, CO. Average speed 74 mph, average fuel economy 23 mpg. I would only let it get to about half a tank before I pulled off the highway to fuel up and let the car rest.
Over all, I am very happy with the car and look forward to making it my own. I'll have to do a search to see how I can squeeze a little more mpg's to drive it more often.
In the meantime, I picked up a commuter car MKV GLI dsg. Not wonderful on looks, but not bad either. Love the average 29 mpg I've been getting.
Glad to be in my Evo and on this forum.

Private Party. All the Evos for sale in Colorado have mighty proud owners... highway robbery... above NADA retail for some beat on POS. I gave zero respect for stealerships and avoid them like the plague. Never ever had a good experience; but how can rape ever be considered good?
