greetings from Germany
greetings from Germany
Hi all,
as i'm registered since a couple of weeks i guess it's time to introduce myself.
I'm from northern Germany and drive an Evo 8 since early 2009.
Maybe you ask: why is this guy is in our forum and not in a German one? It's just cause the German Evo Forum´s are almost crap and i don't like the JDM community in Germany (to less technical facts, low background knowledge - the guys who got really an idea of the car are countable with five fingers... to be continued).
So i decide to take a look in a more international forum.
But lets talk about the more interesting thing - the car.
Model: Evo 8 (2004)
(German model with Evo 7 rear bumper, full leather interior and originally with the small wing which is in the meantime of course replaced by a big one
)
Mileage: ~45.000km (got it with with 9900km in perfect condition)
Tuning: currently i would call it "Stage ~1" (330hp / 453NM torgue) but i'm about to to finish the first bigger step during the next months (containing other seats, 6-pt harness, rollcage, coilovers, other wheels and some other small parts).
I also will install some additional power but this is the 2nd step for me (safety and performance is more important to me).
Before you ask "pictures?": assume you know how an Evo 8 looks? But maybe i post some later on today.
Best regards from Germany

As promissed some pics:

Dakar 2012... no, i'm joking it's just one of my playgrounds.

A friendly "Hello" from my car, too.

Yip, it's a rallye car and it must be dirty!

Some close-ups (including again some dirt xD )

Thanks God for the last parts of the German Autobahn without speed-limit.

Thanks a lot but it's mainly not finished yet. TEIN Type Flex, TE37 and maybe a rear diffusor (if our technical inspection agency / TÜV allows the diffusor...
) will follow during Winter 2012/2013 together with some other parts like rollcage, other seats and so on.
And finally 330hp/453nm is not enough.
The big target is a 430-450hp and 500++ nm.
