Hey All,

Just picked up my first ever Evo last night, 2013 Cosmic Blue GSR with SS and LED. Kept it nice and simple. Of course it poured right before (and after) I got the keys, so it was clean until about 5 seconds after leaving the dealership. So the pics will have to wait.

Looks like there are several members here in the Albany, NY area, so I'm sure I'll be spotted at some point.

I just zip tied the FRP hose, but I'll probably look for a better hose clamp this weekend. Great info and community contributions here for sure, all available with some simple searching!

I was leaning toward OB until I saw they offered the darker color for 2013. It is/was the only 2013 in the immediate area and sitting next to a 2012 Phantom Black GSR. The 2012 has leather and was about 2K higher, however they just dropped the price on it (in case anyone is interested).

There is another dealer here that has two 2012 GSRs, one WW and one OB, each with SS and the Exterior Package. Still I preferred going with the 2013 and CB color.

I'm still undecided on this new blue. I've always loved the octane blue (which is probably why I bought one) but this blue is more of a sleeper/subtle blue IMO.

Still at the end of the day its an evo and I love it haha!

Without throwing the actual number out, I got it for pretty close to invoice. So with tax, registration, etc., etc., let's say for argument purposes it was $39450. I didn't trade anything in, so got hammered on the always enjoyable NY 8% sales tax.

 

Ny taxes suck!! If you ever make it down in westchester let me kno.. I never see any X's.

Congrats on the purchase. I love the color but it does remind me of the "new" subaru dark blue that they came out with for the STi's but maybe my eyes are just playing tricks on me.
