Thanks... The price was too good to pass up... It's a clean title 2 owner car with no accidents... It does have 184k (feels like 50k)... The top end is brand new, the timing tensioner let go on the previous owner and bent all the valves so everything was replaced new with receipts... Clutch was replaced at 150k same with the wheel bearings... No rust except for the typical surface rust on the top of the front struts... I'm happy with the car and its condition... Scored an 84 on autocheck... The radiator has a minor crack but it came with a brand new one and also came with the complete stock exhaust... It's a good little beater while I restore the 323 GTR... It's hard enough to even find a clean shell for that price.
It's really getting out of control what people are selling Evo's for now a days... No one follows the book value. Most people want 7-8k for a shell with 150k it's insane. $13,000 beat cars and people are asking 17-18k... Salvage cars that need 5-6k worth of work selling for 9-10k...
Got really lucky with this Evo, the guy just didn't care anymore. He had 10 cars and just wanted it gone.
Yes, I'm on club protege... It's a true European Mazda 323 GTR (Familia GTR) 1993 LHD... #135 of 200 ever made for France... I really like the look of the fog light grills but I can't bring myself to change the exterior of the car seeing how rare it is... I picked it up bone stock unmolested (except for the yellow fogs)... It was imported back in 2001 and hasn't been touched since I got it... It does run, come winter time it will get all the attention it needs.

Everything looks rusted? You've never seen New England cars huh?
What's visual under the hood is the only surface rust on the car and thats nothing.
