New to the Evo world!

Hi Guys,

I joined this forum in hopes of finding more information on the 2006 Evo! I have been searching for the right one for about a month now. It's just I can't make the decision to buy the evo becuz I have to sell my Z first. I currently daily drive my stock 2010 Nissan 370z 40th version. I love the car, but it's just too much for upkeep (monthly payments, aftermarket parts). So I'm looking to move to Evo ix and hopefully I get it soon!

Thanks I'm looking at an MR! I found this one out on the east coast with super low miles, but bit pricey considering it's a 6 year old car...hopefully I can haggle!

I have a question for you. Since you used to own an s2000, do you daily drive your evo ix? If or if not, how do you like the Evo's low-end power? I'm sure it feels torquier compared to the s2000. I am wondering if Evo feels torquey on the lower band?

Good luck, but upkeep is still a little pricey unless you do your own services.

Good luck! Trust me, waiting and finding the right one is worth the wait. Don't jump on the first one you see and soon enough you'll find the one you want.

You think it'll cost more than my 370z? I think at most, it'll be similar but I am planning to do my own oil-changes and what not. My Z parts were pricey too so hopefully not too bad.

Thank you...I am waiting patiently, but only reason is because I can't sell my Z fast enough

Why not just wait until the Z is paid off?

Definitely not less expensive to maintain. Or modify. I shouldn't but if you plan on going for gold with power mods someday don't get an MR's 6 speed. 5 speeds are stronger. Welcome and read on, good luck with selling the Z!
