Reading an AEM Wideband? Which is right, and which is wrong?

Hey guys this has never came to my attention as it did today. At cold starts it reads 17 sometimes --- if you have an AEM Wideband (which means that nunber cannot be displayed since its beyond the normal. This is also the red part. Is the red part (16+) mean that its rich or lean. Once the car starts to warm up it shows normal between 14.7-15.0. When I switch between gears I pay attention to the gauge, and it reads 12's sometimes (color turns green).

My main concern is what each number/color means for example

Green means Lean, and Red means rich or other way around.

Again, I have no issues regarding my car, but just want to know whats the correct way to read A/F ratio.

Ive read a couple of post, and some say anything lower than 14's its rich and anything higher than 15 is Lean.

Saw the video already thanks man

So, is it good for it to go to lean on cold start? Or is it normal just until the car starts to warm up?
