Sorta new member- SVT Contour content
I'm looking to scoop up an Evo and have had my eyes glued to the forum's classifieds, but while I wait I'd thought I'd share my current ride.
I'm not new to Mitsus at all- I've owned a mint 3000GT, had a built 450awhp 2G Talon AWD, and a Lancer Ralliart. An Evo is just the next logical step haha.
So current car:
3L swapped SVT Contour, PnP'd heads, built trans with a Quaife LSD, tune, etc etc

My first car was a 1997 Ford Contour SE (kinda SVT). 2.5L 24v V6 and a 5 Speed. For what it is you really don't expect it to be as quick as it was. I had a old school mechanic once go for a ride to pick something up and I stomped it in 2nd and he said "wtf is this a V6 or some sh**??". It surprised a lot of people.
It was cool to spank the VW and Honda guys with that thing. Obviously it's no evo but for what it was it was cool enough. There is just no way to make it look good. They designed the car for old people. I've seen a bunch of swaps like yours and S/C ones that made like 400whp and looked stock lol.
Good luck on finding an Evo though. Add to your mitsu bloodline of cars you've had.
