What is up vanilla faces! Very happy new owner and just wanted to introduce myself. Name is Ryan and from NEPA. Not really new to Mitsubishi by any means, but is my first Evo. Been in the DSM game for quite awhile now and currently own 1805/2000 GVR4, but it was jack stand ballin' for years now and couldnt see myself dumping any more money into it. So I decided to part ways and buy an Evo. Always wanted one since they came into the states, but sadly couldnt afford the 6K/yr in insurance when I was 18. But 9 years later, I finally found the exact one I wanted!

Tasteful mods in the near future, mostly just bolt ons. I had a 2009 Cobalt SS/TC, sold it in September. Very cool car for sure but nothing like an Evo. Kept it pretty much stock but clean as hell. Here are some pics of the cobalt and some of the Evo. Will take better pics of her when I clean it. Very dirty as it was shipped from Chicago and just showed up today at work.

But just wanted to say whats up and I am extremely happy. Hope to make some new friends and hope to meet up with some of yous at meets and what not. Cheers

Nice cars! I have kind of the same story, I had a cobalt ss/tc but then shortly after buying it i bought my evo and sold the ss.

Thanks guys! I paid a respectable 23,895 out the door. Tried to get it alittle cheaper but I was happy with the price. I put 6k down and financed the rest.

 

First thing i would do with your RS is to get rid of the head unit (radio) to make it a true RS. haha j/king

My buddies RS doesnt have any audio.

Great find!! Definitely a good color too, that was one of the colors I was hoping to find when I was on my Evo search. Awesome to see another person that found a low mileage Evo!!
