Silly question.....

Does an EVO X really need performance mods to be enjoyed to the fullest?

I don't own a evo x but I would say no . The car is pretty good right out of the box, but just like anything you can always make it faster and handle better or leave it alone and just drive it.

CTF, thanks for your response, and I got to admit, the dyno numbers on your EVO are impressive.....

I would say no as well, stock it's pushing almost 300hp and has a curb weight of only 100pounds or so heavier than a 8 or 9. Plus with technology now with their S-AWC (super all wheel control) I could only imagine cornering and handling would be amazing.

Depends on your definition of fun driving is. Even a stock EVO is fun at an autocross event.

Thanks . Are you looking in to getting an evo? I hear the evo x are a little more civilized than an evo 8 or 9, but I like my evo 8 and its telpathic handling. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the evo's, there all driver's cars with great performance for the dollar value.
