Well I finally got my dream car! Financed a red 2008 Evo X on saturday and i must say i couldnt be happier with the purchase. it's my first m/t car and also my first "fast" car. i had a 2007 civic ex coup that i traded in and that is worlds apart from this beast. my other quick toy is a 2009 triumph daytona 675 so im not completely new to m/t but the tranny in a car is different in a car and a little less forgiving. anyway just wanted to introduce myself hopefully learn some new things about this car on here.

i knew how it worked and since i came from motorcycles it was fairly easy. i had driven m/t in the past but never daily. im finally getting used to it tho. no more stalling.

 

My bad that's the Swype thingy..have fun when you are on an uphill! I was power nervous when i first put my twin disc in..but i own an 8

 

I'm getting better at uphill. I still get a little nervous but I'm getting better at it. Give me a month and I'll be the next Stig...

 

using your e-brake on hills helps out a lot...reduces that 'OH SH*T' fear of rolling to far backwards .... mainly into the car behind you...lol
