Good catch, that definitely is not an OEM front bumper as the front lip was never molded into the front bumper. Also it seems to stick out a lot more than OEM, the grille looks like chicken wire and the shape is a bit more curved.

I'd run a car fax, although that is not a bad deal. The JDM rear, JDM headlights, JDM sidemarkers and JDM taillights alone are worth around $3000.

Surprised he didn't swap all that out with OEM Non HID headlights, Evo 8 tails and a USDM rear to make some money.

I don't know for sure, but it looks like from a VIII.

 

There's no way to tell if it's from an VIII or IX from just that pic AFAIK.

 

Seems kinda sketchy, I would at the very least get it on a frame machine and test the motor.

All of them new came with one as far as I know... Are you the 2nd or more owner? That would explain it...

You can tell if it has a IX head because the VIII and IX valve cover are not interchangeable.

 

Third owner, so yea it could be possible. All other badges were there though so I'm assuming it was an option.
