After reading your post it seems an evo just isn't for you, which is fine. Why spend any more money on it if it will only keep you happy part time. Mods will only satisfy you for a short time, you'll always crave more power or a new look. Then once you decide it's time to move on you'll think about all the money spent customizing the car that you'll most likely never get back. Just save your money and buy something you truly want.

That's just my slept deprived, partially intoxicated opinion

Holy ****. You guys really run with ****. I rarely if ever go WOT in low rpms. As I said it only did it a couple times. Was between 3-4k and wasn't WOT, was just accelerating in traffic. Turbo kicks in at 3200 so that isn't exactly really low rpm. Only reason I didn't think it was clutch is from everything I've read clutch goes fast. This first happened months ago and has not gotten worse. Hasn't done it at all last 7-8 times I drove it. I do know how to drive and I do take care of my cars
Will probably just hold off on mods. I am aware mods don't do anything for value. Next car will be used 911 turbo, m3, tt-rs or something along those lines. Having trouble deciding.

Go home getsumx , your drunk. And yes it still sounds like a slipping clutch as much as your want to deny it. It will go out someday an you will realize your "smaller spoiler ,rims and taillight upgrades were a dumb choice. Just sayin

Yeah go ahead and get an M3. The only thing that has on an EVO is the bling bling.. To say I own an M3..

To me it seems like your the type of guy who can care less about performance. Correct me if I'm wrong but you're more into looks and the WOW factor.. "Hey Girl look at that guy pulling up in the porshe 911, he must be a baller"

So in 5th gear at 3000rpms you shouldn't go wot? I sometimes do it out of impulse it seems to kick the turbo in and go . Or do you mean like Pretty much bogging it to where your really gaining no speed

afaik, this is only relevant to those who are pushing more than 350+ ft/lb of TORQUE with upgraded turbos.

me with my BBK Full and my 345 ft/lbs, I love 5th gear, no need to downshift for me, just step on it and it goes. of course, it's not necessary to go WOT, at that RPM you can only get so much from the throttle anyhow.
