From WRX to first Evo X

Hey guys. Name is Aaron and I've been part of the Subaru community for a few years now. I'm from Nebraska. I'm pretty new to Mitsu's although I did briefly have a 98 GSX quite a few years back.

Anyways I'm fresh out of the Subaru world coming from a stage 2 03 wrx and just now trading in my stage 1 2012 wrx. Honestly I just have become bored with the car. I've always wanted an Evo so I test drove a grey '13 gsr at a local dealer last week and fell in love with it. I work at a Ford dealership and our company recently acquired a Mitsubishi dealership about an hour away, so I had them source me a 2013 WW Evo X GSR. Ended up finding one in Illinois so it'll be here on Wednesday. I'm pretty excited. It has the sight and sound package, which I'm pretty excited about as well.

So I'm in the market for a cat-back right now. I've been looking at quite a few but the Megan OE-RS has caught my attention. Mainly because it's supposed to be a bit quieter but is still 3" and has the titanium tips. The price is a bit enticing as well. For the life of me I absolutely cannot find a sound clip for it anywhere, or even any type of real discussion on it. Is it new, unpopular, crap? If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. Looking forward to chatting with some of you.

Here's a pic of the actual car from the dealer's website:

And a pic of my WRX:

First welcome and nice rides! Love the wrx and how clean it is. Second, awesome choice on the Evo X. You will not regret it!

Now for an exhaust choice. I was in the same boat as you. I wanted something nice, well built, that looked good. I was debating on the Greddy exhaust or ETS. Listening to sound clips on these and talking with Mike I made my decision and bought the ETS V2 Quiet. Hands down the best decision I made when choosing an exhaust. It simply sounds amazing. It's not too loud and it's not that quiet. It's an overall great exhaust for the Evo X. My MAIN concern was that I did not want an exhaust that had a drone sound to it. The ETS V2 quiet has no drone to it at all!

We are currently running a sale on the ETS exhaust systems. So when you are ready just let us know and we can gladly help you out!

I made the same jump, 2011 Stage 1 WRX to a 2012 WW Evo X =) The car is in a completely different league. Enjoy it!
