New to the forum as well as the evo.
We just bought a evo8 as a new shop car. Looking to build the motor, finish the suspension, upgrade the turbo. Any pointers are greatly appreciated.
Right now we are looking for a stock short block to start the build. They seem to be hard to come by at a decent price.

I have pics and such of past builds I will be posting later. Turbo E46 M3, SL55 amg etc..
Thanks and looking forward to Meeting the EvoM community.

Jeff

haven't decided yet. we have been looking at the gtx3582r and the gt3582r.
I also have been looking at all the hybrid turbo's that are available. I've been reading here about the black, red, green etc....

Thanks, we just picked up a set of pistons and rods. still haven't made our mid up about the turbo.
originally we were looking to do a time attack car. since then I think a few things have changed and leaning more towards a drag setup for now. so we might be going with a larger framed turbo.

also looking at doing a gt3582 r hybrid with some larger goodies inside. too many options out there. kind of like a kid in a candy store.

Or it could be that we love both time attack and drag racing now the hard part...deciding between the two.

Well, we decided on drag for now. We're gonna look through our storage and see what we already have on hand and then source out the rest of it. Should be fun.
