Shouldn't he get the same wastegate he has on the other side? This looks like a twin scroll with a Turbosmart Hypergate 45 Wastegate.

 

Hmmm, It's hard to see in this pic, but now, looking harder (haha), it does appear to be a twin scroll manifold, with runners 1 amd 3 going to one side and runners 2 and 4 going to the other.

But then, he might want to buy two new ones anyways because who knows how worn that one is vs. the new one he would have on the other side. Or at least rebuild that one and buy another of the same.
But i do prefer tial to turbosmart, not that there's anything wrong with either company, just personal preference.

Relax guy, I've seen an engine before. Believe it or not, I didnt buy my evo yesterday, and I've also worked on it once or twice.

Anyway, maybe its the angle but when I looked at the picture I saw a flange on the bottom of the o2 housing.

 

^That's what I thought at first too. But looking at it again I can see its actually the pipe bending.

 

sooooo....... how did the entire WG end up missing? lol
