2008 GSR questions

Looking at a 2008 GSR locally. Test drove it and a couple of things had me wondering so I thought I'd ask the pros.

1. The blow off valve is quite audible. I was under the assumption that stock bov's recirculated instead of vented. Am I wrong on this?

2. The clutch is nothing like I've experienced before. In my Jeep and a Mustang Cobra I had years ago, as soon as you started letting off the clutch, you could feel it engaging. On this Evo, there was a whole lot of dead space. I'm used to pushing all the way down to shift, in the Evo there was no reason to push it down even half way. Is this normal?

I tried searching, but after several pages of nothing even close to what I'm looking for, I gave up and took the easy way......sorry

1. Is the vehicle stock? Does it have a intake? With an intake you can hear the bov more.

2. These are hydraulic clutches, Mustangs have a much different setup, so the clutch will feel a lot different then the evo's.

Mustangs have a clutch that isn't hydraulic?

I'm pretty sure they are cable clutch setups, please someone chime in if I'm wrong. I think depending on what year mustang he drove, it may have a cable clutch setup.
