Purchasing my first Evo! Please help!
Hey everyone I'm buying my first Evo on Tuesday and I'm looking for some advice. I plan on buying a 2003 Evo with 90k miles. The seller bought it from an auction to work on but found a supra not even a month later so he is selling this Evo. The exterior is in GREAT condition as well as the interior. It drives great(for as much as know about evos) and sounds mean. Is there anything I should be looking for in particular with these cars? And how much would you pay for this car if it were you? I know this is a lot to ask but I need all the help I can get!! Here is a list of what it comes with
Brembo brakes
3 inch exhaust system
Recaro seats
Hid headlights
Hks blow off valve
ETS turbo to intercooler piping
HKS down pipe
HKS turbo timer
Manual boost controller
Test pipe
Cold intercooler piping
Launch control at 5000 rpm
Aem intake
Autometer boost gauge
Autometer Air fuel ratio gauge

Title is clear and carfax is clean??
Bring it to a shop that knows evo's. Leakdown and compression test to start.
Also make sure that the 60K was done and if not, put that into the cost of purchase of the vehicle

Yes the title is clear and he wanted 14k for the car but he had no idea if the 60k maintenece had been done so I got him down to 12,500. I'm going to try and get the vin tomorrow for a carfax report. Thanks for the advice!! Keep it coming
