Hi so I just got an evo x gsr and the previous owner put so mods on in !! So they are
ARC AIR BOX
HKS LOWER INTERCOOLER PIPING AND BOV AND 3" upper intercooler piping no boost controller so I re plugged it the way it comes from stock as much as I could do mods and I also tried a manual boost controller but no success can someone help me to know as why I'm over boosting !!!!

To use a boost controller you will require a tune for it or you will just keep over boosting.

 

get a tactrix cable and pull the rom. Make sure the vacuum lines are all connected correctly and do a leak test. you can send me your rom and ill touch it up

 

Make sure your vacuum lines aren't backwards from the boost controller. Double check that as that would prob be the main culprit.

 

I double checked the vacuum lines and the look like they in the correct place but still over boosting is it because of my mods ? And what is the cause

 

What brand of MBC is on there? How are the hoses hooked up?
