I was shocked by my log result.. In the first run, the boost pressure spikes 24 psi, a bit of high but acceptable due to low temp. But in the second run it hits 30 psi.. My car is a bone stock 2011 EVO X GSR.. Anybody seen this before and know why? Please help!

 

hmmmm are you sure its stock? Did you buy it new or used? Also I would check if you have a boost controller.

 

if so you got a factory freak there my friend.

 

mine is hitting 30psi...4th gear, I have a cobb stage 1+ ots tune with aem intake, ams intercooler...now it was -30 outside, I believe this is my problem...someone chime in please!

 

Was boost being measured directly or estimated from air-flow, etc?

 

was watching my boost gauge built into my APv3...doing a log

What is peak boost level supposed to be on a totally stock USDM Evo X, anyway?

 

just to clarify, was ambient air temp -30* F, or 30* F...I just want to make sure.
