GT30/40R

740cc nismo injectors
stage 4 CC clutch
Z32 300zx twin turbo brake upgrade
K-sport suspension

My other car 2008 honda civic Si (daily driver) 450whp @13psi have dyno sheet
Full Race turbo kit GTXR3071 (complete kit )
1000cc injector dynamics
high flow Fuel pump
Hondata TCS system
Stage 4 CC clutch
Tien Street Adanvce coil over’s
Hondata flashpro

I have joined the Evo M comity because I want to buy a EVO X MR, when I was younger my first car was a 98 eagle talon tsi AWD at the time I had no idea what car I bought because to me it LOOKED NICE and when I started driving it and realizing what that car can do it was to late I got bite by the gear head bug I got infected for more boost more power harder take offs and so on. I have been modifying cars ever since I was 18 years old and it all started with my TSI Talon AWD DSM!!!!

Here’s the problem I want a Evo X MR for a daily driver and add basic mods to it like a turbo back exhaust intake and a cobbs access port and nothing else. My Si is awesome I have no problems with it what so ever. I have had the car boosted for over 6 months on a stock block without any issues, NONE ZIP NOT ONE ISSUE!!! But the only problem is LIFE got married and I want kids and a baby seat wont look good in a Full Race boosted Si with 2 doors not so mature in the words of my family lol hahaha FML. So I am not sure what I want to do sell my civic and use that money torwards my EVO X MR or keep them both. My Si is sooooo fast for a Daily driver when I went to go test drive a EVO GSR because they didn’t have a MR in stock the sales rep told me the GSR is the same ride but instead of SST you got a 5spd which is fine because one reason why I want a evo MR is because of the SST I am sick of stage 4 clutch’s in traffic between clutch chatter and my wife going to me “ dose this car always have sounds like this in traffic honey its so annoying”. Anyways being spoiled by the speed and power of my SI the GSR felt broken and slow hahhhahaha but it was way more comfortable then my Si I can only imagine what the SST feels like. I wasn’t to happy with that test drive but the sales rep told me they have a used 2012 EVO X MR coming in Friday and to go there and test drive that one before I purchase a new EVO X MR.

But here’s the problem to keep the SI or not?? Its paid off for the last 2 years and is problay one of the only modded cars I have ever had that never gave me one issue! Its’ BEEN DEAD ON REALIBLIE takes a beating and keeps on spinning and boosting hahahaha. But then again if I were to sell my SI I don’t want to part it out id rather sell it as is. When I modded that car it was built by Jeff Evans @ Evans tuning so the car was work on by pro’s!!!!!

I want to post pics of my cars but because there not EVO’s or DSM I wont unless a admin tells me its ok just because it’s a intro thread, but til I get the ok Thank you for reading everyone its nice to meet you all and I can’t wait to get a EVO X MR.

You got 450whp on a civic si? That is impressive.

I'm not to sure about your question though. Your question is should you sell the si or not? We don't really now your finances. Not sure how we can advise you either way. Since your si is paid off, and if you can comfortably afford the MR payment, why would you want to sell the si? If however you want/need a lower MR payment, then you will have to come up with some money down from somewhere.

I usually purchase my cars with zero down and add on gap. If you put money down and something happens to the car (totaled/stolen), then basically you loose that money you put down. I usually put $0 down and wait a few years until I'm at that break even point. Then you can take that money and apply it to the car.
