Hey my name is Seirra. Located in the middle of Kansas. Woot! Been looking into evos for some time now and finally committed myself to a 2005 rs.loving it so far but have discovered that the owner before me has driven the poor thing into the ground. Plans for it? Get it running right and upgrading anything I can at this point. Power goal 700 800.

 

I also purchased a lemon Evo and am committed to fixing it. Low compression, crankwalk, whining transmission, rear diff with 2.5 times max backlash. Everyone told me to sell it and get a different one but you can't give up on Evos. Welcome.

 

Thanks and yeah you cant give up on them, they are to beautiful and graceful design. Mine needs a lot of work on it. Body and engine the guy before me tried to tune it himself and its got fuel cut and every time you try and get on it even a little the check engine light comes on. And my intercooler is held up by zipties everything is so half assed . it's so saddening.
