The Army hates me and is sending me to Riley. My reward for hiding out in Hawaii for 4 years. Any type of Evo scene or ANYTHING in Kansas? Or am I doomed

 

^ Kind of doomed bro I got buddies that PCS'd there and they're barely any Evo's out there from his sightings and he said if you can sign a dex statement however you spell it and cancel your orders to go somewhere else.

you sure about that mark? they have AFSOC there, 7 ASOS is there and i'm sure they have TACP/JTAC guys attached to the army units. i'm actually thinking of taking a slot there.

 

C'mon man lol. You got to know that JTACs get attached to all kinds of Army units. You know that if its not a recon/sniper team, I don't want it. At least the guys from 1/16 inf at Riley came in 9th at the international competition this year. Oh.....and at least no smog test in Kansas lol. Trying to find bright sides ha

Riley... You'll be fine man. Since you're INF you'll probably be up on "The Hill"(Custer Hill). As far as the Evo scene goes there are probably only a few in the immediate area. Junction City(JC) is blah but it is getting better all the time. Manhattan is nicer than JC. You've got K-State there so there more to do there than in Junction City for sure. A little further down the road you've got Topeka which is a bigger city than Manhattan and close to K-U(another big college). And then a little further down I-70 you'll find Kansas City. Once again a bigger city... better shopping... places to eat, party, hang out etc. The tricky thing to that is there are to sides to KC, The Kansas side and the Missouri side. Be sure to stay on the Kansas side of KC... just trust me. But what you really want to know is where your going to go for your Evo needs right?! There is an awesome shop called Modified by KC. Chad is the main tuner there for Evo's or at least he was when I was there and from what I have seen on their webpage they're still doing good things, reall good things. MKC is about a 2 hour drive from Riley but I would go see them before I would take my Evo to the dealership in Manhattan... jus sayin. They're(Manhattan Mitsubishi) good for basic stuff and anything warranty wise but I wouldn't want them to rebuild my motor obviously. Be optimistic about your PCS bro... there are worst places to be going than Kansas.
