New to the forums

hi to all i'm new to this forum, and currently shooping around to get an EVO

Looking to get an 05 Evo 8 or 06 Evo IX mr or gsr.

I need help here.

now i'm looking at a 03 evo, but idk if i should pick it up because i heard anything lower than an 05 arent good

Your not going to get short changed with an 03-04-- you will hear a lot about all sorts of things, sure the newer model come with a little more as with all car generations but you still get the great car your looking for. be far more concerned with its condition then its year.

or might even consider an EVO X, but everyone of my friends telling me try and stay with the IX or an VIII is there something wrong with the EVO X

The X is easily the best stock evo, and responds great to mods. It's already beating the VIII/IX in time attack.......there is nothing wrong with the X

I had an 03 and mine was great IMO

Every Evo is going to have their flaws, of course with an 03 it's cheaper than the rest yet we can pull just as hard as those with the MIVEC heads

actually i talk to my friends with the evo they told me the only difference on 03,04 is that it doesnt have the option of tarmac and gravel and all. And that its unless here since I'm from Texas
