Lurker on this site for quite some time since I was 16-17. Always wanted an Evo V/VI after watching Tommi Makinen as a kid then wanted a 8/9 in high school. Long story short never got one, but kept up with car events/shows in Socal. After 2 failed Evo IX purchases, one in Bakersfield with 30k miles that sold within a day after trade-in, other in Hawthrone with 50k miles (sold morning I was going to buy, day before MOD in Cypress). Found this treasure in Fullerton.

Bone stock cept for kw v3's, boost gauge, turbo timer. Looking to make a 400hp daily eventually, convenient e85 stations in Fresno and SoCal. For now VG, Perrin Shorty, Oem Rain guards, aem wideband, jdm mr tails are needed. Thanks for looking.

Very clean 8 bro . . . I'm missing my Evo almost everyday I drive my car out the garage hahaha I'm hoping to find a bomb deal like I did with my previous one. So 400hp for a DD outta this future beast? Very do-able I was real dang close myself with my previous Evo 8 so if you need any advise hit me up!

 

Thanks. I see quite a few partouts / crashed evo IX's near Los Angeles who sell their stock tails for $200~. Most likely will pick up a set of those. Other option is to do like you said and make my own jdms, but I also have no problem going with replica Depos and some good sealant. Definitely not gonna spend 900 on a pair, too many priorities on the engine before spending that much on exterior. After I finish the brembos refinish, I plan to do my own nose chop .
