Tryin to decide what to do
Hello everyone, its been a loooong time since I've made a post.
Basically I'm ready to move on from my 03 lancer and get real evo. My budget is about 20k and I'm having a hard time deciding what I want. I think I've narrowed it down between getting an VIII or an X.
I'm kinda leaning to the X because its easier to find a stock one with fewer miles on it (finding a stock 8 is almost impossible), and I feel this would help it be more reliable.
Ive already spent a few hours looking at this thread but still haven't really come to a decision.
the car will be a daily driver, to and from college and work. I like the look on both so that's not really a factor. I do want something fast, and I want to learn as I go as far as installing my own parts and such, but I cant see myself going over 350hp because I'm not really racing at a strip or anything.
(I know this might be kinda a dumb noob question but) What kind of additional investment would it take to get an X to 350hp?
Is an X a better choice for a still-fast daily driver?
I'm posting this here instead of the "Evo X vs Evo VIII and IX" thread because that thread is to much fanboy arguing back and forth and I don't really wanna deal with that
