I'm looking at a 2011 white Lancer Evolution GSR. i'm a 20year old girl.Some people told me that this is a boys cars, not for a girl( it doesn't look like a car that a girl would drive.) So i'm not sure if i should buy it.... What is your opinion?

 

Many girls/women drive EVOs.

Many on this site. I do question at 20 years old the purchase of a 25k+ car however.

Buy whatever your heart desires. I know a few females with Evo's and STI's and i think its fantastic. Just be prepared for the maintenance involved with owning one.

aside from being 20 and owning a evo, there is nothing to worry about. dont listen to other people, esp people on a evo forum

 

Just be sane when it comes to modifications and don't do typical girlie stuff to your vehicle. My wife owns a modified STi and wishes she knew more women into cars like her personally.

 

My two daughters won't drive any other car unless they rant and kick like crazy.
They only prefer to drive the MR!
Basically in my house the majority of EVO drivers are girls including my wife.

 

Get what you like and drive responsibly! Simple. Done. Now go get an EVO.

hey, im 20 and have an evo, but i established my credit before i went and got one, (picked up an 06 evo 9, spoolin4g63's actually he's on here) i also have a steady job (military) so if you have established your credit (within the 700's) and are financially stable/able, then go for it, even with my 448 payments a month and 246 a month in insurance (georgia is insane) i dont regret it a bit. and as for the "being a boys car" thats wrong because it would be a mans car lol, but love is love, and if you love the evo go for it

 

Girls should stick to Range Rovers, 3 series, and C classes.
