I say run some air, add mad crazy camber and put some 20x11 and run 215 tire. Should not effect the handling to much.

Welcome to the evo side. I'm new too, but came from the subaru side.

how do you plan to successfully magnetically attach the license plate to a plastic bumper?

Plan was to mount some rare earth magnets to the engine side of the bumper and then some on the back of the license plate. Probably just going to go with the mount mentioned earlier.

Congrats on the IX! I just bought mine couple months ago also. As for the turbo timer, I usually just let my car idle for a minute before turning it off(doesn't hurt to let it cool) and for my front license plate, I just zip tie it to the lower driver front grill.

I used 3m for my plate as well, I've autocrossed my car and have hit fairly high speeds and still in place, amazing stuff, and when i want to take it off, no damage to paint!

Unless you are beating up on the car right before shutting it off, you don't need a turbo timer. Just stay off boost for a couple miles before parking and it will be fine.
