Hey guys and girls..? this afternoon i make myself member of this beautiful forum and i want to introduce myself.
Im Jack and i live in Holland,why i am here ? just curious about a lot of things related to Evo's.
i have an european (LHD) Evo 8,i buy it complete stock... now its close to stock, i only put dark evo 9 lights in it evo 9 rear bumper,the big wing is off and i have 18 inch rims and i put a suspension kit on it and its an Bilstein PSS9.
further i have a 3 inch exhaust,ecu remap,evo 9 dumpvalve and a walbro pump.
if any of u have any questions dont hasitate and just ask.

i'm guessing that the colour have a different name in Holland, color rr means rally red here in the US what the name of the colour over there?

ow im sorry about the rr,i didnt know that.. here its just red,from the evo 9 they give names like electric blue,evo x wicked white,sapphire black.

about the jdm look,its not my meaning of it.. here the bumper and lights i have come stock on a evo9,the bumper i like becouse its diffuser and its lower to the ground,the standaard evo8 "lexuslook" lights its a pain in my eyes so i put stock evo9 dark lights in it. next year my engine wil be forged,i cant wait for that

sorry for another post,but about the pictures of the japan import meeting dont espect a lot about it becouse you guys go way further with your cars then here... ow yeah and im sorry for my bad english,i dont want to disrespect your language.

 

Dont worry about the language barrier. It is nothing to worry about! There are plenty of other members on here that do not have English as their first language who get along just fine.

 

The USDM spec evo 9 here dont got as much goodies as EU or JDM spec evo. here a few things we dont get: jdm rear( diffuser), electronic climate control ( we got the mechanical one), ayc (some dont care), electric mirrors ( some dont care), SAS( think that only jdm), JDM headlights and tails( my personal preference), navigation( think that JDM spec only also) there probably more that I'm missing.

dont worry about the language barrier. there a lot of people on here, that isn't from the US, you be surprise how many people are from different countries are on here. if you need something just post away someone will answer eventually. most of your questions probably have been ask a million times. just browse the forums or do a google search on whatever looking for and add evom at the end, hopefully that helps.the website search is kinda terrible IMO lol anyhow welcome to the community

 

what the evo9 standaard have here and the 8 dont : mivec,6speed,aluminum roof,alcantara interieur,bigger turbo,bbs wheels,the rear diffuser bumper,dark tail and headlights,no carbon at the side of the spoiler,different front bumper,
