Pretty new to the forums. This is broad question but hopefully it can be answered.

Well I'm in the market for a Evo IX. Black or white non Modded or lightly modded. Under 100k.

However its so hard to guess what to even pay cause even on the forums/ebay etc pricing varies so much. One guy with 80k is selling for 24k another with around the same miles same trim same mods 28k... It's really hard to even say what the average cost would be. I know it varies by where you are etc.

Well I'm on the eastcoast. In NJ right now. Home is back in FL so somewhere between the two whats the average cost? Any info would be gladly appreciated.

Looking for something under 20k for sure.

 

I have a black one IX very lightly modded with just over 100k. Im just starting to think about selling it, and if I were to, I would probably ask 18.

 

With any vehicle, no matter how rare or wanted it is, my thought process for buying cars is the same. I look at number of owners, maintenance history, wrecks, is it from up north where they have salt on roads and thus has rust, etc... I would never pay $24k for an evo with 80k miles. I bought mine from a dealer 2 years ago and feel I overpaid at $23.5k for s car with 44k miles

 

The two greatest factors are mileage and location when it comes to evos also how modded it is. your in nj looking for an ix. Assuming it has a clean title and it has not heavily modified and also kept (not winter driven, no rust ect) my guess would be 18-22k

 

Yeah I've yet to see anything really in that range. And if it is. Its near 100k mark.
