I've enjoyed reading this forum for the past few days. I don't have much to contribute right now because I don't have a Evo yet.

A little of my story. I've been into cars for awhile. Right now I have a 95 M3 and a Scion XB. I originally wanted to get a WRX but I really like the look of the Lancer Evo much better. The only thing I don't like is I have to go all out and spend a lot more money for the options I want. I want a sunroof but you automatically have to have the leather and stereo packages along with it. I like leather, and it's nice when it's new, but wears over time and doesn't look so great. I've experienced this with my M3.

I bought my M3 used back in 2001 and loved it. I found out later I could have got a new WRX for the same price. I didn't know much about the Lancer Evo back then, but a friend, who is really into cars also told me about it.

I've been a fan of rally cars for a while. A lot of you may be too young to remember, but I had a Mazda 323 GTX. That Mazda was a nice rally car back in the day.

I'll probably end up trading in or selling both my M3 and Scion to get the Evo I want.

Thanks for the welcomes. I got my evo and I'm still getting used to it. The clutch pedal feels really light compared to my M3.
