Two questions from a New Guy......
Hey guys! I've been reading up on the Evo the past couple weeks and all I have to say is WOW. You know the Evo OWNS when an article is written by a company that produces performance Scoobies and says..."yea.. the Evo owns us in every test we performed."
I am very interested in getting an Evo sometime in the future, however a few questions still remain unanswered.
1) Is their any way to replace those altezza tail lights? Do they make a carbon fiber version somewhere?
2) Is the block cast iron or is it sleeved with ductile iron from the factory? I've read all these posts from ppl upping the boost but know where do I see people recommending sleeving the block.
3) Is it open deck or closed deck?
4) How much boost can a stock block handle before you have to go with aftermarket forged internals?

1) yes you can
2)cast-iron
3)closed deck (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
4)42.5psi and not a thing broken
, but 20psi recommended on pump gas
IMHO engine can hold 500whp safely with ARP headbolts
2)cast-iron
3)closed deck (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

1) oh sorry, I thought you ment the non-altezzas the ones onEVO 7, I don't think they have carbon fiber out (unless you custom order them), look in the EVO show and shine section, a lot of people got them
4) boost solutions is insane (they did that on the project car before they put in the new stroker kit)
