JDM Evo6 GSR
How's it going everyone, my name is Will, i'm from NJ and own a JDM Evo 6.
Before someone asks how I imported an Evo from Japan or how I registered it, I bought the car already US titled from Craigslist. I'm not sure what the process is or what it takes to legalize an imported car. Sorry I can't be of much help with that.
Some people know me from instagram (@cp9a), when I used to work for a performance shop in central NJ or have met me around the way. I've posted here and there on this site in the past but never stuck with it since when I worked at a shop, I'd be around cars all the time and the last thing I wanted to do when I went home was talk more about cars on the internet. Since the occupations have changed, the car has been sitting for months for the build and generally missing being around cars, I've decided to be more active on the forums and share my build. I've started uploading pictures to the photo albums and when I find some time, will make a dedicated build thread.
In short -

thanks!
hey howard. the build is slowly progressing. i'm waiting on my coilovers and tomei ti ct9a exhaust to come in this week so i can mount it all up and pull the motor. i already mounted the new tires to the wheels and going to tow it to the body shop to have the fenders / arches modified to fit the 255's and bring the beat up 15 year old body back to life. looking forward to seeing you around. how's the evo treating you? she was looking great at the paul walker meet.

Thanks! Decided to not to do the body work this time around since I'm trying to go back to Japan in October. The main goal is to get the new motor into the car. Just ordered the rest of the Tomei catalog, need some oem parts and the car should be running soon.
