Coilover suggestions?
How's it going guys I was wondering your personal opinion on a suspension option for my 8, I was going to buy a set of JIC coils off here for a pretty good price but wanted to get some info on what's the best overall coilovers for a DD Evo, anyone's suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I will respond in fear of you bumping your thread a second time within the hour.
Why do you want coilovers in the first place? Im guessing bc coilovers are cool and will be a great thing to brag to your friends about?
Don't mean to be a dick but cmon...not only has this question been asked literally 1 million times it is such a silly question in the first place.
Like most things everything is a compromise. What may be the best for one thing may not be good for other things. if you plan to dd the car I would say Ohlins are the best. However, they are certainly not great for your wallet.
Once again I will ask you though, why do you want coilovers?

Running coilovers on a daily driven street car is completely unnecessary.
If you want a reasonable compromise, get some MR Bilsteins and some Swift Spec-R springs and call it a day.

Oh boy...well bumping your thread isnt going to up your post count. But and then again nor does posting in the newbie section either.
But now that we have that squared away lets get back to why you want coilovers. What could you possibly prefer about the ride of coilovers? Most aren't known for being supple or plush on the streets especially the cheaper option out there as they provide limited travel and the valving is typically subpar.
Why do you consider purchasing Bilsteins from an MR with springs to be dumb? They will yield a much better ride relative to cheap coilovers and will handle much better as well.
At the end of the day it is your car and your money so you are free to do whatever you would like. You asked for opinions but do not seem too willing to listen to people who have first hand experience.

I dont think heel2toe was being a dick and there are a many threads like this if you search around. He is just giving you his opinion. To each his own~
Also posting in the noob section doesn't increase your post count.
Fortune Auto 500, Stance super sport, Apexi EXV N1 are coilovers that I am betting will fit your needs.

Yes I've heard great things about the fortune auto 500's, the 510's I heard aren't necessary for street use, and I don't want to buy bilstein's with drop springs i respect your suggestion but like I said I like the adjustability options you can get with coil over, I guess my question has been answered though thank you for the info guys.
