evo 8 ran 12.7
"19-20psi is stock?! i thought 15-16psi. gee i feel dumb."
It'll peak at 19ish then settle to 15-16.
I've got a TBE, intake, FMIC, GSC s1's, and the supporting mods for that, with a tune, I'm peaking at 26psi, tapering down to 21-22. I make around 345-350whp.

i also have a civic cx, with a gsr motor and im running 13.5s. though the evo is much more powerful, it drags alot of weight. id just thought theyd be faster than high 12s. but im glad its running like its supposed to
whats TBE? possible to turn boost up by tuning only or is a MBC/EBC needed?
TBE= turbo back exhaust. You can turn the boost up with a tactrix cable and modifying your wastegate duty cycle with ecuflash but not advisable without the proper tools to tune which would include a wideband and some capability of logging.
Sorry you are dreaming!
I see you are in Cali so that means 91 or E85. You won't get anywhere near 350 without the whole host of bolt on parts and you might as well throw in a 9 turbo also. That is on 91. That will get you close to 330ish.
If you decide to run E85 you will get more power but at almost twice the price. Up to you you.
You don't want to just go turning up the boost not a good thing. Get cams also a 9 BOV if you have the stock plastic one as it's a POS and then get it tuned correctly and you will be a lot more happy.
I find it hard to believe that you were hazing the tires with that little of power but then again you did say they are AS tires. Normally the clutch ends up slipping before that in my experience unless yours is upgraded.

hahah, yeah... 91 octane. ive read up on people adding 2gallons of e85 to their 91 to get a higher octane rating. is that recommended?
im bound to get it tuned. just nothing crazy cause we got smogs too. hopefully the new DAD smog system comes out soon...
tire slippin; i mean i figured i ran after some trailer queen cars and its probably just pickin their rubbers up. but i do have an act clutch; from what im told from the previous owner. and yes all season yokohamas.
so my upgrades are; TBE, injen intake/intercooler pipings, and ams ic
If you tune for 91 with what you have right now (no prior tune), you'll see a decent bump in power, I think I was making around ~290whp with the same mods you have now, although I was tuned for 93.
Do a fuel pump, then cams, throw a 9 bov on there so it'll hold more boost. With a good tuner, you'll see low 300's on 91 no problem.
