Oil Drain Pan Bolts Evo IX
Hey All,
So I'm having an issue with removing my oil pan on my IX. I got the starter off, and all the bolts... except two.
Nothing I had would get to the two most inside bolts right up where the pan meets the trans. I ended up bending the **** out of the clutch plate or whatever the proper name of the plate is to get a 1/4" socket in there.
Now I have all the bolts off, and the pan still wont drop. It's like it's hung up on something. Is there something that need to be disconnected inside the pan or does it require a little bit of elbow grease?

If you are sure you have removed all the bolts then the only thing still holding it on there is the RTV sealant or whatever it's called which is used to seal the thing up since there isnt a gasket. A little bit of gentle prying is all that is required and it should drop down.
