Hey everyone!

I've been on this site multiple times, mostly just research and trying to study up. But here's a quick run down of why I finally joined.

I bought a 2013 Lancer ES, bare minimum model as essentially a temp. car until I found a Evo I was willing to sink my money into. Well here we are a year later, no Evo and still stuck with a Lancer. Living in Oklahoma, you can imagine Evolutions aren't the most popular car, and when you do find one for sell they've either been abused or modified in ways you don't like... Now to get to why I finally joined.... I came here in hopes of finding assistance and direction in converting my Lancer into an Evolution.

I know your first response is don't do it! Waste of money! But this is what I'm set on, not to mention I can literally customize every small detail in doing so.

Anyways its nice to meet you all. Now I just need to figure out these forums lol.

First,, you're right...first response would be not to do it. I haven't read too much on people converting Lancers in Evo's, but I'm betting it would cost an absurd amount of time and money to do it properly. Have a dealer order a new Evo for you or something. Or hell, if you're set on modding a lower end car into an Evo, start with a Ralliart.

Second, welcome!

The more I dug into this the more over whelming its become. Ive been wanting to convert it for the last couple of months, its an auto btw. So I would of had to automatically change out the tranny and power train to even begin to support my idea of converting it into an evo...

I was considering of selling of my beloved lancer and moving on to a Ralliart but the no manual option makes me hesitant. Ive test driven the 2013 MR and enjoyed the sst, I just felt a little out of place. I want to bump the Ralliart upwards to 400 awhp, which was the initial goal of the lancer.. I guess its time to do some research on ralliarts. Any suggestions on a year? I haven't even looked on if they made a 2014..

On the side note I'm not a huge car head guy, me modding my lancer was going to be a huge learning experience LOL.

Thanks for the welcome
