Hello all,

Well all the debating, thinking, planing, hoping, dreaming is over!
I just signed the paper work on a brand new, 00008 miles on the odo. red, carbonfiber spoilered, sunroofed,every dealer option installed Evo V///.
Think I did pretty well , 31.2K out the door, beat the dealer up cause my sales man messed up and sold the yellow one I reserved on the showroom out from under me, I really wanted red any way, so they had to get it from another dealer. Moaned and wailed and walked out, threatening to post BAD stuff on this forum. Well I got what I wanted .... now I just have to wait till thursday to take delivery!!!! I want it,I want it,I want it,I want it,I want it now!!!!!!

I hear ya'. I picked up my little brother from a field trip once, and I over heard some kid tell my brother, "I hate you. You've got an Evo." Mind you it's only an OZ, but I busted up laughing....

It is a lot different than your z06, but I am sure you will love to drive it just as much if not more...

You will notice that you get a lot more looks and questions than you probably did with your Z06... Most people will not know what it is and will want to talk about it. The others will know and will want to talk about it. Either way they will all talk about it.

I get looks, staris, and everything almost every day I take my car somewhere. In fact I went to an SCCA event this past Sunday and there were several corvets, Sti's, M3's, Mustangs, And 911's but everyone was taking pictures and hovering around the 3 Evo's that were there.

 

nice, btw, how old are u? just want to know how old and old fart really is.

 

All the kids on my daughter's school bus tell her they love the car, the driver even stopped for a minute and let them get out and look at it and the eclipse. Does having kids make you an old fart, if so its not that bad

 

41 years young and I can still bench press almost twice my body weight.
Ohhhh every thing hurts, were is my bottel of advil? no honey I can't pick up my socks, really
