Well hello everyone. I am a new proud owner of a White 06 Evolution 9 MR 6spd. Just wanted to introduce myself. This car is a stock (at least was advertised as such) I think it has a custom catback and an upgraded clutch (because its the heaviest clutch I have ever driven). I know nothing of the maintenance record of this car and with 80k miles so I would love to know everything I should do to go over it well to keep from any problems.

I used to own a 1g dsm 6bolt 4bolt that made 365 awhp and I loved that thing. I traded in my 2014 mustang gt to get this car because, my wife decided I needed something the family could ride in so I figured why not pick up a car that I can still have fun in.

Well that my intro. If you all smart evo owners have any thought suggestions or tips and tricks I can learn from post them up.

Thanks all!
Chad

Welcome to the family. If you are going to drive the family in it then I'd personally say stay away from modding too much and keep it reliable, IMO. If it cranks up and idles fine and runs fine, then leave it alone. We all know far too well that if you start with one mod you're going to get the bug and go down the rabbit hole, so just be prepared if you do. Good choice in color, I really like the Evo's in white.

Absolutely agree! I mainly need to go over it real well to make sure it was not ran hard Also any tips on what and how to maintain this car would be awesome.

I will probably mod it. I always have but, it will not be for awhile and it also will not be anything crazy until later in its life.
