Hey everyone,

I've been a lurker around here for a while as I've always had an eye on Evos, IXs in particular. I was lucky enough to trade my turbo 8th Gen Civic for a IX MR this past weekend. The car has 80k and came to me with new brakes, a somewhat recent belt/pump/tensioners service and overall in pretty good shape. It was a Northeast car though so it needs a little cosmetic tlc! The previous owner also did:

- HKS Turboback
- Exedy Twin
- ETS intake/licp
- Walbro 255
- mbc and tune
- Carbon hood ()

The tires on it were in pretty bad shape so first things first it got some 245/40 BFG Rivals, New tie rods (northeast ftl!) and an alignment

Thanks guys! I have a thing for white cars...lol my Civc was white too. I was really happy with how good the paint was on this car. I'm going with a few friends to the tail of the dragon this weekend to really see how an Evo is to drive and I'm pretty excited as it should be a lot better than a Civic with 500hp

 

Your civic had 500hp? lol, why the change? If you don't mind me asking. Wheelspin?

 

Probably cause of all that mad torque steer.

 

Yeah my civic was turbo'd with an EFR 7670. Was about 480whp on 93. I just wanted something that was more fun to drive in the mountains and was built as a driver's car from the factory. And yeah wheelspin was pretty bad in 1-2...torque steer wasn't an issue though luckily.
