Sold my Audi B5 S4 and need to get back into some boost...


Pretty familiar with the EVO's and will be planning a purchase after the winter.


Heard good things about this forum from some buddies.

Here is a good shot of B5 ownership... There are some other good ones of when I swapped new turbos.


I will be looking into an VIII or IX GSR. Possible semi pre-built to save me some time. I browsed different CL ads and the ads on here and looks like I can get into a decent one for under $20k with good power numbers.

 

 

Oh look, a B5 S4 in it's natural habitat! j/k I do love those cars but have been told to stay away haha. A few of my friends have them and 3 of them already needed to replace turbo's. Welcome to the forums, hope you find what you're looking for!

 

The "j/k" wasn't needed.... it truly is their natural habitat. I thought about getting back into one... And then I thought about what fun I DIDN"T have when it was misfiring or the ECU bricked itself, or I blew a couple off at the turbo inlet...which is IMPOSSIBLE to get to without de-jointing a small childs hand to cram down/up into the spot they are in. PITA
