Best wax?
Best wax?
Well I decided to quit being so lazy and start washing and waxing my car myself. (just got my Lancer a few weeks back). What I want to know is what do you guys think is the best wax to use on our cars. I haven't had a car worth waxing in years, so I don't know whats out there now.
By the way, a lil off topic, but I'm glad I found this forum. You all have givin me great ideas what I want to do with my car. Already have done some minor improvements. Now I'm just waiting for some money to do more.

I was going to try Zaino but live on Vancouver Island and patience isn't my stron suit. I have been using Meguiars Gold Class until I get over to Vancouver to pickup some Zaino. I am very happy with the result and now am going to try the new Mequiars product, NXT before laying out the xash for Zaino.
Punch in Mequiars or Zaino into the search engin and you'll get a lot of info. Also congrats on your Lancer.

Ok Zaino seems great and all, but I said I'm lazy and trying to quit being lazy
I need something with a few less steps. I'm not looking for a show car wax, just something for us everyday folk

Brian - Not to be a smartass, but usually the instructions on the bottle/can work well. I've never really heard too many "insider tips" on secrets that work better than normal, but I may just be uninformed.

Brian, just log onto http://www.meguiars.com/
you will find all the instructions you need. There is also a link that you can give your location car age etc and they will send you a program to follow.

just to be repetitive, Meguirs is the best out there, but if you are looking for the lazy mans wax, then that Zip Wax all in one usually does a pretty decent job. Its a car wash soap that has a waxing agent added into it.
