There's people here who have forgotten more about Evos than I will ever know, but from what I am reading, the car you are looking at is extensively modified.

This is not necessarily a red flag, but you've got to ask: who did the work and did they know what they were doing? As in really know what they were doing? If the seller can't tell you, walk away.

If you don't really know what you are doing, I strongly suggest getting an inspection, done by someone who does. Otherwise, buy this car and you are likely to get a money pit (TM).

Finally, a car like that is going to require a lot of ongoing maintenance and esoteric parts. This is not something you can have serviced at your local pep boys, and you local napa will have no clue what you are talking about. Do you have a budget to handle this, and are you capable of doing so? Or someone else local?

^ I agree with all of this. With a car like that you need to ask a lot of questions (or with an Evo in general honestly). I had a turbo Honda before I just bought my Evo and let me tell you, there is no such thing as a car with a built motor making double the stock hp that does not and will not have issues. But as long as you are prepared for that, the story behind the car checks out and a mechanical inspection checks out then I would go for it!

To back up everyone and coming from someone who purchased a pretty modified DSM as a first fun car, be very careful of everything. Go through the car with a fine toothed comb, have a shop check it out, ect. Some digging at the beginning is way better than unforeseen headaches down the road. The build list does look solid, but like it was stated above, there always will be issues.Go in with a level head!

A shop called HP logic out of west palm beach fl did all the work. It has 7k miles on the build. I appreciate the heads up I have the budget to account for the upgrades I'm not aware of many shops near Memphis tn. That deals in evos.
