New member, bye STi hello Evo X.
Hello everybody!
As the title says I am a new member and I have a pretty interesting story that I would like to share. Me and my lady went into a
dealership to pick up a car for her. We had driven my STi there, I got some dirty looks from the staff there but I shrugged it off and laughed. They kept asking me am I here to upgrade, and I would just laugh and say no just here for her car. While she was signing the paperwork for her car I told the salesman I'm bored and I want to test drive every sports car you have. He kind of looked at me like I was crazy(it was 8pm by this point the dealership closes at 6) but he eventually said fine, walked me to the office and said "take whichever key you want just don't add more than 15 miles on each car"and he went back to watching Sunday night football. So I test drove every used sports car on the lot, luckily they had the full lineup of evos from 2005-2014. Drove VIII,IX,X a few times and honestly I was sold on the IX and X by the first minute of driving. Both cars felt so amazing, just in another stratosphere than any STi. I had always wanted a Evo IX all throughout high school and they had a blue and a black IX available but this 2013 X had a hold on me. So walked back in, told the salesman stop watching I'm trading in my STi for that Evo X. Needless to say he was in complete shock at what had just happened and rushed to try and get the paperwork started. Finally picked up an evo,13 year old me would be so jealous. Anyways now on to the only part that matters

Spent the past 20 minutes debadging the mitsubishi and lancer emblems, and painting the. I apologize for the crappy paint to hide the plates.

Both of our cars together that first night.
Anyways I can't wait to learn more about this beast of car and hopefully make some new friends with everyone here and join in on some bay area meets.
