I might be picking up a set of the stock EVO 8 wheels for my 1g Eclipse GSX and want to know what width the wheels are. My guess is 7.5" since they have 235/45 tires stock. I have a new set of Yokohama ES100 225/45 tires for my 17x7 wheels on my eclipse and want to know if they will fit ok on the stock EVO 8 wheels as well. thanks for the help guys. I wish I could afford an EVO, but I guess I have the next best thing

wow...so it looks like the 225/45 tires I have sitting around are out of the question huh? stock size is 235/45 on the EVO correct? if so, will 245/45 fit ok on these wheels? thanks for the help guys.

 

245 will fit just fine. The sidewall on a 245/45 will be a little taller though. I'm mounting 255/40's on the stock rims
