i recently got word that there is an engine for the our lancers that is supposed to be kick-a$$. it costs somewhere around 2 grand. anyone ever hear of this motor?

 

i think it was that mivec engine on ebay. i'm think the said it comes with the ecu and engine. so it sounds pretty cool. but if u got 2k its gonna cost for shipping and installation. i say get a turbo kit intstead. boost a low psi and you will be way faster than the 162 hp the mivec engine can give, you will have about 200hp at the least with a 2-3k turbo.

 

OR... get the MIVEC, then when RRM releases their MIVEC turbo, get that TOO, and be boostin' way above 200HP!!!!

(did i forget to mention you're doubling your price? whoops... but WHO CARES!!! POWER, BABY, POWER!!!)

 

RPW has been doing the swaps to the mivec. They are the experts talk to about it. But they're in the land down under so you will need to find a good shop to do it or if your doing it yourself make sure you feel comforable with it. Either way it is a pretty cool project. If you do it or know anyone who does good luck.

will mivecs fit in an OZ engine bay? and are you all sure there isnt another engine for the lancer?
