Greetings from Qatar

Lots of people here nice to meet you all

My name is Jay, I am from Qatar. I drive a black Evo 9 but I have also driven lot of fast cars such as the Ferrari 599 GTB, Porsche GT2, BMW M5 both V10 and the new one V8, corvettes and other evos. I love cars and driving them. Although I don't own a super car ... Some of my friends do, so I get to play with their toys which lead me to my little toy.

Evo's... The quickest cure to an STI

Hi Jay and welcome!

Thank you for checking in, please post a pic of your car when you have a chance. I assume rust from snow and road salt is not a problem in Qatar? Have fun!!

Hahaha! Thanks speed limit 😊 Snow and road salt is not an issue in Qatar but the heat is just as bad for the car lol I have some pics I'll post up of my black Evo 9 and white Evo X. I'll try to post a small clip if it's possible of me launching the Evo 9 from 0.

Street racing is not legal in Qatar.. however, we join the local racing club and race there with whoever you want or in an organized circuit with all types of cars. We still street race though either way. Most of us drive safely in empty roads with no people around.

so in theory if there are no speed limits and you a driving along fast next to your buddy in his STi, and you slide up next to him and go faster, that would be legal wouldnt it?

Lol, that happens a lot of course and most of the police just enjoy the sound because they also have similar cars if not better lol

Nice! I bet he's enjoying it here. The pearl is a nice place but it's a problem for us because of the undercover cops who can call us in for loud cars. Lots of foreigners there that's why lol
