My car has 700 miles on it now and the clutch has a smoother feel than when I first got the car. Its not as jerky. This is my first NEW standard car (have owned used ones) and hope there isnt something wrong. Does it get smoother after it breaks in?

 

All depends on your driving style. Drive it nice and it will stay smooth, drive it hard and it might get choppy, dump the clutch at above 5k all the time, say bye bye clutch.

 

I'm at about 800 miles and the clutch does feel a littel smoother, but I thought its in my mind. Hard to tell cause the clutch in my vette feel like a truck compared to the evo. I swear my left leg is about 1 inch thicker from all the cluthing
