Indiana Newbie
Hey everyone!
I thought I'd officially introduce myself after lurking around the forums for the past couple weeks. I just bought a 2010 Lancer GTS and have been soaking up all the information available here; this seems like a great community!
I've always been a fan of evos, but they're still a little bit out of my budget.. Regardless, I managed a great deal for my lancer and it's definitely a nice upgrade over my '00 Honda Civic EX. I have a few mods planned for the lancer thus far; I just installed RA mudflaps and am waiting for my RRM RSI to arrive along with their timing controller.
Once I decide upon an exhaust system (don't want anything buzzy or loud) then I'll pull the trigger on a WORKS tune (Brain Flash P1 - I've already been in correspondence with them). Then it'll be time to move onto suspension and eliminate the huge wheel gap while upgrading the sway bars, truss bar, etc while taking care of random things like a short shifter and the front center lip. Even with the GTS' beefier suspension (compared to the other lancers), the Civic still handles better - handling (and maybe MPG) are the only upsides to still owning the civic.
Anyway, hi!
