Long story short, when my buddy (124Y) picked up an EVO X back in 2008, He drove straight to my house from the dealership. I was happy for him and envious. At the time, I always told him, if you ever decide to let it go. Give me first dibs...
Fast forward to 2012, and he got in to more competitive auto-X then tracking. So he bought a NA Miata, btw the now 2 cars, he also rode a bike, so eventually the EVO X was put into storage... 2 year passes..
and here we are... I get a call and was asked. Hey man, my wife has finally convinced me to let go of the EVO, what do you say?
I jumped on it, bought it home...and now finally.... a proud owner of an EVO X.
Since he gave it to me at way below market value, I helped him part out his car so he can make back most of what he lost. And plus, I enjoy the process from a relatively stock -> my own transformation. The only mods on it is a custom tune, down pipe (because he lost his cat), intake and HKS SSQV.
So ya... I do not have a current photo of the car, but here are the glory days, when his EVO was at his prime.
