New here

I have never really been in a forum before. Having issues with searching for what I need.

Anyways, I am prepared to be flamed lol. I used to drive an rsx. I did a full k24 build. Naturally aspirated to 300 hp after tune, I dont remember the tq. I went to a jeep wrangler, beefed that up for offroad. Got tired of that and sold it to get a truck. Now I am bored with this.

I really miss the fun driving and building/installing.

I have decided I want to get an EVO. It is simply the looks that is drawing me towards it.

I would like to know out of most of the years from 2010 to 2014 what is the best year? Is there a ton of difference mechanically? Any quarks that I should know about? Anything in general before I go out and purchase? Any info will help. I think I found one I like that is about 190 miles away.

Color's. I am debating between wicked white, or cosmic blue pearl. I am about a month away and would really appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome!

If the Evo looks are drawing you to the car, wait till you drive one. I'm very partial to White cars and I love the Evo in white! As far which year, post that question in the Evo 1-9 and/or Evo X General forums. You should get several 'lively' responses. In my opinion the condition/mileage of the used Evo trumps a particular year, check out the stickies in this forum. Have fun hunting!

Welcome to the forum and good luck with getting your perfect Evo! I was torn between a white and a blue colors as well. Let us know what was your final decision. Hope to see some pictures soon!

I will, there was a new trade in at the dealership last month thats less than an mile from my house. It is white and super cheap (for an evo) but has 75 k miles. It also has a ton of dings and scratches on the sideskirts. I think I am going to wait until next month and go for one a little further out with less than 30k miles. 75k is kind of much, especially since I dont know if the owner prior drove it hard, modded etc.
